PEEK & PPSU Products

PEEK

Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a high-performance, semi-crystalline thermoplastic known for its exceptional mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and ability to maintain these properties at elevated temperatures. It is widely used in demanding environments where reliability and durability are critical, offering excellent wear resistance, low friction, and strong dimensional stability. These characteristics make PEEK a preferred material for precision components such as bearings, piston parts, pumps, compressor valves, HPLC columns, and high-performance cable insulation.

PEEK has a relatively high melting point of approximately 343°C (649°F), allowing it to perform in applications where many other thermoplastics would fail. Despite its high-temperature capabilities, it can be processed using conventional methods such as injection molding and extrusion, enabling the production of complex, high-tolerance parts. Its combination of strength, thermal stability, and processability makes PEEK an ideal solution for industries including aerospace, medical, automotive, and industrial manufacturing.

PPSU

Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), also known as PPSF, is a high-performance, amorphous thermoplastic composed of aromatic rings linked by sulfone (SO₂) groups. It is known for its exceptional toughness, impact resistance, and long-term durability, even under repeated stress and exposure to harsh environments. PPSU offers excellent resistance to heat, chemicals, and hydrolysis, making it a reliable choice for demanding applications in automotive, aerospace, medical, and plumbing systems.

Unlike semi-crystalline polymers, PPSU does not have a defined melting point due to its amorphous structure, which contributes to its dimensional stability and consistent performance across a wide temperature range. It can achieve tensile strengths of up to approximately 55 MPa (8000 psi) while maintaining toughness and resistance to cracking. PPSU can be processed using conventional methods such as injection molding, allowing for the production of strong, lightweight components designed for high-performance and high-reliability applications.
